Benefits
When we ask ourselves what chlorella algae is good for, we have to think about its phytonutrient CGF, as well as its high content of chlorophyll, omega 3 and iron.
Properties of chlorella algae
The phytonutrient CGF (chlorella algae growth factor) is composed of nucleic acids, amino acids, peptides, polysaccharides and beta-glucans, all of which help to strengthen the immune system. CGF also contains nucleic acids, which are essential for building, renewing, repairing and maintaining human organs and tissues. This fact helps to combat one of the effects of age, since the percentage of nucleic acids decreases with the passing of the years, so that the defences are reduced and premature ageing can occur. In addition to these properties, it contains chlorophyll, which is perfect for purifying toxins; omega 3, which helps to prevent cardiovascular diseases; and its iron content, which keeps diseases such as anaemia under control. In addition, chlorella algae alkalises the body and prevents its acidification, which could cause multiple diseases and mineral loss.
